Our New and Improved Magnetic Eyeliner combines our signature strong magnetism, to guide your lashes on super easily, with a stronger skin adhesive, to keep both your liner and lashes in place! New advances in skin adhesives have allowed us to have a stronger hold that is even less allergenic. In tests run by our lab, no one tested has had an allergic reaction to our new formula! Of course, there is no product that is 100% allergy-proof, but we are really excited about the response we’ve had! The hold is so strong that it creates a dual-use liner. Our new Magnetic Eyeliner can be used with regular lashes too! Our new formula is even easier to apply! It’s also smoother includes new ingredients to keep your liner fresh longer, and has a new lighter and fresher scent. HOW IT WORKS...
1. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING
2. Apply one coat of magnetic eyeliner. Allow to dry for two minutes.
3. Apply a second coat. Allow eyeliner to dry until tacky but no liner comes off to the touch.
4. Starting from the inner corner of the eyelid, apply magnetic eyelashes.
5. When happy with the placement, lightly press the lashes to set.
Remove your magnetic liner by first washing your face then, using our Pro Makeup Remover on a pad, gently wipe off your eyeliner. Always remove magnetic eyeliner gently to avoid irritation or dermatitis.
IS IT SAFE?
Magnetic lashes are safe to use around the eyes, according to Elise Brisco, OD, CCH, integrative optometrist and clinical homeopath. She explains that magnetic eyelashes are even better than using traditional false eyelashes because you don’t need to apply glue close to the eye area. Magnetic eyeliner contains iron oxides, which are tiny, pigmented minerals commonly found in cosmetics, that are FDA-approved for use around the eyes, according to Andrea Thau, M.D., a past president of the American Optometric Association. "There does not appear to be any risk with the small amount of electromagnetic frequency emitted by the magnets." To be extra safe:
✔️ Read the directions on the package. Whether or not you're a pro at applying false eyelashes, each kit is unique and has its own set of instructions.
✔️ Don't share your eyelashes with friends. "Make sure you keep them clean so you don't give yourself an eye infection," Dr. Brisco says. "Wash your hands before handling anything close to your eyes."
✔️ Remove them before you go to bed. "When you don’t clean your eyelids well, or remove makeup and false eyelashes, you risk getting an eye infection," Dr. Brisco says.
